Over four decades, Joy has worked across electronics, cybersecurity, wireless networks, CCTV and alarm systems, cable TV infrastructure, early internet networks, software development, systems architecture, 3D design and fabrication, and pharmaceutical operations.
Not sequentially - often simultaneously.
Joy has designed and built electronic circuits and controllers from scratch, laid cable TV and wired internet infrastructure in the early days of the internet, developed systems for security and surveillance, trained teachers and students in Maker education, and founded a regional Maker center - advising, consulting, and building across all of it.
The thread connecting all of it: finding technological solutions by seeing problems from multiple angles at once. When you understand both the circuit board and the network, both the software and the hardware, both the threat and the defense - you start seeing gaps that specialists miss.
In a world where every convenience comes attached to a surveillance agreement, Joy asked a simple question:
"Why does 'smart' have to mean 'monitored'?"
Why should your files live on someone else's server? Why should your AI conversations train someone else's model? Why should backing up your WhatsApp mean handing your life to Google?
SynCryptAI was built as the answer. A private AI operating system that runs entirely on your own hardware. No cloud dependency. No monthly surveillance tax. Just your machine, your data, and your rules.
Currently building from a small community in the desert. 🏜️
"The most powerful thing you can own in the digital age
is not a device - it is the data on it.
May your files be yours.
May your conversations stay private.
May your future be sovereign.
